| Error code | Description | |
| CEM-1A5F | CEM communication with ABS-faulty signal |
There are many CEM unit issues, especially in Volvos after 2005. If this error code appears in combination with error codes that indicate the ABS unit, check the CEM module first. In many cases the ABS unit is not defective at all.
Various small Nissan and Renault trucks:
These ABS units are very similar to the ATE Teves MK25, but differ internally. Problems relating to the pump motor can be solved by remanufacturing the unit.

VAG (AUDI / SEAT / ŠKODA / VOLKSWAGEN)
| Error code | Description | |
| 00003 | Control module adaptation | |
| 01130 | ABS operation: implausible signal |
Both error codes are relate to the coding of the ABS unit. In this case, perform the coding, preferably with Vagcom, and then go for a test drive. Both error codes will disappear and not come back.
NB: Normally coding is only necessary after replacement of the ABS unit. So coding is necessary when the unit is removed and refitted, not even after an overhaul.

Repair an ATE MK25?
The ATE MK25 ABS unit is used by various car manufacturers like: Audi, Volkswagen , Mercedes and many others. The faults that occur differ per car make and model. The faults in an ATE MK25 are mainly caused by bad wiring or a defective pump motor. ACtronics has a remanufacture solution available for a faulty ABS unit. Just select the correct make and type in the drop down boxes on the website.
Possible defects and fault codes
In general two types of complaints occur: errors on the pump motor and loss of communication with the ABS unit. The complaints show while driving: the ABS warning light will come on. In addition to the ABS warning light, the live data will show if the ABS Unit still receives data from the wheel sensors. Fault codes in the ABS-unit can be stored in the memory, to be read by a scanner later. The error codes that can be generated by these problems can be found below:
