Yaw rate sensor |
If the basic setting/adaptation is incorrect: perform the basic setting procedure again. In the event of an electric circuit failure: check the wiring to the yaw rate sensor (G200) and measure the supply voltage to the sensor. Is everything as it should be? If so, replace the sensor. If the error code persists, please contact our Customer Service department.

Vacuümsensor 012 |
This vacuum sensor is located externally and is known to malfunction. So in this case,check the wiring, fuses and the external vacuum sensor. If these items are all as they should be, check the VAP valve (venting valve for active carbon fi lter). In practice, people have found that this valve also fails occasionally and triggers the above error code.

ATE MK61 broken
ATE MK61 is the successor to the widely used ATE MK60. ATE MK61 can be found in various car brands and types: Audi, BMW, Ford, Honda, Mini, Opel, VW and many other brands. A common problem is that the ABS pump motor becomes defective. There are two components of the ATE MK61 that often become defective: components on the printed circuit board and processors that can become defective. Due to the defective processors, the signal from the sensors cannot be processed. In some cases, the ABS unit is not defective, but there are problems with the connectors of the ECU. It is therefore wise to test other components before sending a unit.
Error codes ATE MK61
The ATE MK61 can generate the following error codes:
- Audi, Seat, Skoda, Volkswagen (VAG): 01276 (04FC), 01130 (046A);

ATE MK61 repair
The ABS module consists of three components: the pump motor, the HCU (Hydraulic Control Unit) and the HECU (Electronic Control Unit). These three components ensure that the ABS module can function optimally. Do you only want to have the ABS pump or other components such as the ECU revised? ACtronics only accepts the entire unit, because from its own experience it has been shown that other components can also fail.
ACTRONICS repairs, revises and restores the ATE MK61 and many other electronic car parts. A good diagnosis of the defect is essential for a successful overhaul. ACTRONICS has a specific test setup for each ABS, so that we can make the correct diagnosis, check all functions and perform a final test. In this way, the success rate at ACTRONICS is extremely high.
